Surface Mounted Rim Lock with Long Throw

• Surface mounted locking slide bolt for gates.
• Lock and strike plate mounts to the surface of the gate and gate post.
• Installation requires a 1-1/32" diameter hole drilled through the gate for the brass lock cylinder.
• Throw of the square lock bolt is 2-5/8".
• Lock is reversible, works on left-hand opening and right-hand opening gates.
• Includes lock, strike plate, 5 keys, mounting screws and a round brass trim plate which fits over the brass lock cylinder showing on the outside of the gate.
• Keys and lock cylinder are solid brass. Bolt is zinc chromate plated steel. Lock housing is coated with a black rust resistant finish.
• Please note that this product is now only available with a black lock housing.
• Important: Please note that the keyway for this lock is not the typical Schlage or Kwikset keyway. Your local locksmith will most likely not have key blanks for this lock that can be duplicated. 5 keys are included with each lock ordered.

Function

• Available in either "Single Cylinder" or "Double Cylinder
• Single Cylinder locks and unlocks from the outside of the gate with a key.
• Single Cylinder locks and unlocks from the inside with a button that you push and slide.
• Double Cylinder locks and unlocks from both sides of the gate with a key.

Door/Gate Thickness

• 2" maximum gate thickness size
• 2-3/4" maximum gate thickness size
• The maximum depth is determined by the length of the brass cylinder

• Available in two keyway types:
  • Locks are Keyed Differently
    • Each lock you order will have a unique set of keys
    • For each lock you order you will receive 5 keys
  • Locks are all Keyed Alike
    • All the locks you order will have keys that will open all of the other locks
